Koh Phangan Parties - Full Moon Party - Half Moon Party - Any Party - We Cover Them All!

We saw another quiet night at the Moon Set Party last night, this is nothing surprising this time of year, most of Koh Phangan outside of Haad Rin is quiet. Strangely enough this actually adds to the charm of the Moon Set Party in some ways, this has always been a laid back kind of party so when it is quiet it just feels more laid back.
The seating area at Pirates Bar is very chilled, just cushions and low tables lit by candles, this also adds to the relaxed vibe. The people who attend this party also seem to be more friendly overall and less likely to stagger around blind drunk.

Once again the tide was running very high, swallowing half the beach that is usually accessible to party goers, this should change in a couple of months and return to normal.
The food was looking fantastic last night with a buffet set up at the back of the seating area, maybe this was why so many people chose to sit and socialize instead of making use of the dance area……
One thing that was mentioned to me last night by one of the people I met was how hard it is to actually find the party. After considering it I have to agree, it is well sign posted until you get to the beach and then it’s a case of following the bass until you find the party, some kind of sign at the parking area would really help.

I have said it before, it’s a hell of a shame this party doesn’t get more support, Pirates Bar is a great place for a party and definitely one of my favourites.
