Koh Phangan Parties - Full Moon Party - Half Moon Party - Any Party - We Cover Them All!

I’m afraid we don’t have a particularly good review of the Full Moon Party for you this month. Our temporary reporter, Zab, just turned up looking like he was run over by a truck, eyes red and bulging, hair all over the place. He didn’t manage to get a usable recording from The Fridge, he didn’t manage to get any interviews and the pictures he took look like they were taken by a very drunk person, oh wait, that’s because they were!
In truth the recording problem is down to us, we are still having issues with our equipment so we can’t really blame Zab for that can we? Anyway, cheers Zab, at least we got a report this month thanks to you. Our usual guy is on his feet now and tells us he should be fit for the Shiva Moon Party in a couple of days.

As you can see from the picture above, the Full Moon Party was heaving last night, amazing when you consider how quiet Koh Phangan is in general at this time of year.

Zab tells us even the bars and restaurants down every side street were full, certainly it looks like one of the busiest Full Moon Parties in a long time…..
It’s strange that most of these people are never seen anywhere else on Koh Phangan, they just seem to come for the party, stay in Haad Rin and then leave without exploring the rest of the island, a damn shame.

There were quite a few months last year when the Full Moon Party looked quite deserted, often much of the beach was empty with just a crowd gathered around Cactus Bar and Drop In Bar, it would seem that this year the Full Moon Party is once again claiming it’s place as the premier dance party in Thailand.

So there we have it, another Full Moon Party come and gone, apologies for a weak report this time around, we will have that fixed for next month.
